Polyvinylchlorid (Polyvinylchlorid), abgekürzt als PVC, ist ein Polymer aus VCM (Vinylchloridmonomer), das durch Peroxide polymeriert wird.mit einem Gehalt an Stoffen von mehr als 10 GHT,. Vinylchlorid-Homopolymer und Vinylchlorid-Copolymer werden zusammen als Vinylchlorid bezeichnet.
